Finally I got my car

After long waiting period due to negligence on SA side, I finally got my car. The car was ready on 25th August by Salient Progress Batu Cave, then I pickup my car with JL99 in Selayang the next day. I would recommend those who wanna buy Proton, opted with Salient and avoid JL99 at all cost. Simply because JL99 is also a dealer to Suzuki, most of the time, the SA will much focus on Suzuki customer maybe due to higher commission I guess.

On that day, My SA was not kind enough to offer me any kind of gift or petrol. His excuse was that he already gave me lots of discount on the car price. Been educated man, normally, we want to avoid confrontation with the stupid. I just want to get over it and take this beautiful lady home ASAP. Without further argument I signed all related document take the car key and cabut to the next petrol station and when home.

At first when I drove this car it was quiet difficult for me. Drive by wire is indeed need different approach than conventional cable throttle in my previous ride. The acceleration is crazy as from 1.3 driver standard and the cornering is indeed superb. Congrates to Proton on this. However the engine is sound quiet a bit rough. I have to live with it, thats Campro engine characteristic.

The first mod I done on the same day to this car is to install wheel lock nut. This is due to the demand of ordinary Satria Neo user on the Neo Cps rim, some Cps owner are not lucky enough. Its not that I love the rim soo much but economically its better to invest in lock nut less than rm100 then later have to buy new set of rim and tyre more then rm1000. However, if the thieve decided to steal, they can get it anyway but at least, with lock nut, they need to put some effort.

On the evening on the way heading back to Temerloh (the next day drive to Kelantan for hari raya) I went to tinted the car with NS Cool Tinted near Maybank Taman Midah. The spec for the tinted :

The workmanship was just okay-okay but they really put effort to entertain you plus the work very fast except one guy speaking on the phone while tinting my front windscreen. The tinted was not so dark and function as expected from rm300 tinted.lolx After 2 weeks I notice, some bubble on rear passenger window, will go to them when the time is right.

After that I straight go to Terminal Putra, Gombak to pick up wifey and from there drive to Temerloh. The feeling of climbing the hill before genting sempah tunnel was superb. he he he he

I love this car and no regret until......
